I would like to share my experience as a Texan living 1,200 miles away and dealing with Boaters Exchange staff (i.e. via telephone) on performing a pre-purchase inspection and water test on a the boat I was contemplating purchasing in Orlando. My timeline for the survey and sea trial was crunched and challenging yet Jerry and staff made time and shuffled their schedule to accommodate my needs, even if it meant going beyond their normal workday hours. Now you should ask yourself...How many dealers have you experienced do that? I suspect Boaters Exchange can't jump through hoops each and every time but my sense is they will look for ways to meet your needs, even if at times they have to go beyond the 6pm closing horn. The attention to detail and thoroughness, during the pre-purchase inspection, reflects a philosophy that is focused on building long term relationships even if it takes a bit of extra effort from time to time.
