First Tuesday Seminar Series


Every first Tuesday of each month, Boaters Exchange holds a free, hour-long fishing seminar on various topics from local, professional fishing guides as they give out their secret techniques and tips. The seminars are designed to discuss topics for upcoming fishing trends so that you can get the most use out of your boat and know what you're doing while you're out on the water. Seminars are held at the Boaters Exchange location in Rockledge and start at 6PM. Refreshments and giveaways are included in the evening's activities and every seminar is sponsored by Boaters Exchange, Michael Rowland of USB Financial Services, & Mark Filichia of Coverage Pro Insurance.

Topic:
Catch trout in great numbers by employing tools and techniques of a former commercial fisherman's bag of tricks!

And, learn how to rig your tackle, trap your own pigfish and find concentrations of the feisty and tasty Spotted Seatrout!

Capt. Mark has been fishing the 160+ mile length of the fabled Indian River Lagoon System since 1970. He brings a lifetime of sport-fishing experience and over 10 years of commercial fishing knowledge to your day on the water. Capt. Mark's passion for inshore saltwater fishing began while living in Stuart, Florida at the southern reaches of the Indian River Lagoon. Here he learned the fine art of snook fishing from the area's lighted bridges while fishing at night. Here too he learned how to catch trout by the hundreds on the expansive flats from Jensen Beach to Ft. Pierce.

This summer Boaters Exchange will be hosting several Summer Raft-Ups - impromptu, casual gatherings on the water! TBA: Join us as we retrace Ponce De Leon's footsteps and explore one of Florida's most amazing boating secrets. Silver Glen Springs is one of the few springs in Florida that can be visited by boat. "The Glen" is situated Northwest of Daytona on Lake George. To get there we'll depart from Boaters Exchange in the early morning and tow boats over land to Astor, Florida.
